The National Academy for Information Technology participated in the Saudi International Exhibition and Conference on the Internet of Things, its third session, from 13-15 next Rajab corresponding to 8-10 March 2020 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center under the supervision of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and regional and global participation from the sectors of technology, communications, digital transformation and other Related areas. The conference is part of the development plans led by the Kingdom, as it is in line with the National Transformation Program 2020 and the Kingdom's Vision 2030. It also supports the research efforts undertaken by academic institutions from universities and research centers in addition to supporting the industrial sector with the latest technologies and enhancing consumer awareness about innovative products as well as its contribution to directing the compass towards vital cities that will witness a global technological revolution, foremost of which is NEOM. Specialists in the technology sector revealed that the Internet of things spent about $ 1.48 billion last year, expecting increases of 19.5% in the coming years and up to 2023. Statistics indicate that the Kingdom is the largest market in the Arab Gulf and the third in the Middle East. In light of the digital transformations taking place in the Kingdom.
