IT Quality Assurance

This course focuses on computer science and product testing fundamentals. It covers monitoring the software engineering processes and methods used to ensure quality such as ensuring conformance to one or more standards such as ISO 9000 or a model such as CMMI. Students will learn quality assurance that spans the entire software development process including requirements definition, software design, coding, source code control, code reviews, software configuration management, testing, release management and product integration. The course will help to understand developer mindset and how to work with them to ensure success for the product.

General Requirements:

  • Age 18 and up
  • Saudi nationals or individuals whose spouse or mother is Saudi
  • Excellent spoken and written English proficiency
  • Commitment to complete all course requirements
  • Unemployed job seekers (not registered in GOSI in the past 90 days)
  • Diploma or higher
  • You have not previously registered in any of the initiative's programs

Technical Prerequisites

  • Some basic technical experience and computer literacy are required. Coding experience is not required but is helpful.
  • Daily access to a computer, preferably a Mac, and strong online connection
